Who we are

What the service is
smart.trader provides a free trading journal for recording and analyzing your own futures trades, and a comparison of publicly available proprietary trading firm ("prop firm") rules and fees. We are not a broker, futures commission merchant, prop firm, investment adviser or commodity trading advisor. We do not execute trades or hold funds.
No advice
Nothing on smart.trader is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy any product or join any firm. Statistics in your journal describe your past trades only and do not predict future results.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [support email] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your data
You own the trades, notes and screenshots you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. You can export your trades as CSV and delete your account at any time from Settings. See the Privacy policy for details.
Acceptable use
Don't upload unlawful content or anything you don't have the right to share, attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, or scrape it in bulk. We may suspend accounts that do.
Prop firm information
Firm rules, prices and promotions change often. We show sources and the date we last checked each item, but we can't guarantee accuracy. Always confirm terms on the firm's own site before you buy. Some links are affiliate links; see the Affiliate disclosure.
Availability and changes
The journal is provided free and "as is". We may change or discontinue features. If we make material changes to these terms we'll notify you by email or in the app.
Liability
